RECs and green tariffsTexas electricity demand is growing faster than almost anywhere in the country, driven by data centers and industrial expansion. That puts upward pressure on future contracts, and the best-priced terms go to accounts that lock in early with a competitive bid in hand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration forecast 425 TWh of ERCOT demand for the first nine months of 2026, up 14% from the same period in 2025. More load means tighter supply windows.
ERCOT North Hub wholesale power is forecast up ~45% in 2026 vs. 2025. Auto-renewing without a bid is the highest-cost option.
Suppliers price renewals off incumbency, not off what the market will bear. A competitive RFP is the only lever that changes the number.

Texas commercial energy brokerage
Aria Energy Services is a Sugar Land brokerage focused on commercial electricity in the ERCOT market. Our team has worked on the supplier side and the broker side of this market since deregulation in 2002, and we have completed multiple full-cycle books of business from launch through exit.
We work directly with retail electricity providers across Texas, and we take every account to market with a proper RFP rather than routing it to one preferred supplier. You see every offer we collect, and you make the call.
No. The rate review is free. We are paid a commission by the supplier you choose, already factored into the all-in rate we quote you. There is no separate broker fee.
A recent electricity bill is enough to start. The bill gives us your ESI ID, utility, usage, current rate, and contract end date, which is all we need to build an RFP and send it to suppliers.
Indicative pricing typically comes back within one to two business days. Final contract pricing can take slightly longer depending on account size and supplier capacity.
At least 90 days before your contract end date. Suppliers price accounts further out from expiration more competitively. Accounts that come to us 30 days out have fewer options and less negotiating leverage.
No. We will price your account across the market and show you the results. If your current supplier comes in with the best rate, we will tell you that and you can renew directly. Our goal is the right outcome for your account, not a transaction.
We work in the ERCOT deregulated service territories, which covers most of Texas including Oncor, CenterPoint, AEP Texas, and TNMP areas. If you are unsure whether your service address is in a deregulated zone, we can check for you.
Upload a bill and we will have pricing back to you within two business days. No commitment required.
